Concept and process work: subtle tans and sea foam hues were used to imitate the sand and ocean from the beach without distracting customers from the colorful merchandise. To contrast with the subtle hues, mirrors and glass accents are placed throughout the boutique. A figure-8 floor plan design causes customers to travel through and view all merchandise in hopes they will grab something along their way to the checkout counter located at the back of the store. Triangular displays and shelves along the walls help create this path. The types of lighting include chandeliers, recessed can lighting, and accent display lighting.
